The basis for all modules is a specially developed and patented aluminium frame. Whereas other materials easily become deformed with a changing room climate and rearrangements and cannot offer a standard of quality, an aluminium frame has proven to be fully resistant to many years of service, and in addition, is many times lighter than its wooden predecessors – without losing any of its stability.
Construction of the seating module
1. Covers. A variety of covers can be selected based on the field of use. We offer outdoor fabrics as well as covers with fire safety certifications for business and public areas.
2. Internal moisture barrier prevents water logging under the cover.
3. Multiple layers of foam provide maximum comfort.
4. Synthetic fibreglass rods, which are fitted to the frame, allow dynamic cushioning.
5. Aluminium profile. The core element of an IKONO module. Thanks to our own developed and patented aluminium frames, our modules provide an unprecedented standard of quality, suitable for all types of situation and environmental impact. The plug-in technology for connecting individual modules is also integrated with the frame.
6. Height-adjustable feet for optimal adjustment – even on uneven floors.
Modular
More than 200 modules enable limitless design in terms of form and function. In addition to the individual configuration, proven combinations are available.
UV-resistant
Fading from direct sunlight is a typical quality deficit in outdoor furniture. To counteract this, we use fabrics with spun-woven fibers. They withstand UV rays and do not lose their brilliance over several summers.
Water repellent
The lotus blossom effect lets the rain roll off the outdoor fabric. The residual moisture can then be wiped off with an absorbent cloth. The outdoor lounge is then dry and usable again within a few minutes.
Easy to clean
The outdoor fabrics are absolutely easy to care for. A cleaning solution of lukewarm water and mild soap will remove most stains, even stubborn grease stains. Coarse dirt can simply be brushed away.
OEKO-TEX® Standard 100
The outdoor fabrics we use have been awarded the OEKO-TEX® label "Standard 100" in product class 2 for environmentally friendly and non-toxic textile products with skin contact. They are therefore harmless to health and kind to the skin and the environment.

Thanks to many years of expertise in full upholstery and the use of high-quality materials, our modular world offers uncompromising comfort for indoor and outdoor areas. Both areas can be equipped in a uniform design.

Patented aluminium system
The core element of an IKONO module is the self-developed aluminum frame, which enables the connection technology using a clamp and the welting of the covers. The frame forms the basis for the patented overall system.
Changeable covers
The covers are attached to the profile with a sewn-on welt and can therefore be exchanged. If the trend colours change or if individual covers are damaged by, for example, burn marks, the entire lounge does not have to be replaced.
